Although the final votes have yet to be counted, forecasters believe that the the Italian election will end in a deadlock between left and right.

Both parties are predicted to be unable to form a majority and both television and telephone polls seem conflicting.

Italy’s election is of major concern to the rest of Europe as it plays a huge role in its stability as it has the third largest economy in the euro zone.

How do you think the election will pan out? Will the predicted deadlock happen? Will Silvio Berlusconi triumph once again, or will Pier Luigi Bersani get a chance?
