Today is supposedly the most romantic day of the year- Valentine’s day!

Most of Europe celebrates the holiday in a similar way- giving flowers and chocolates to loved ones, as well as perhaps having a romantic dinner.

Finland and Estonia refer to Valentine’s day as “Friend’s day” as it is a day to remember your friends as well as your loved ones.

Slovenians believe that Saint Valentine is one of the saints of spring, so it is a day for planting flowers and starting work on the fields and vineyards.

How do you celebrate the day in your country?
